NOKIA N700

The competition among smartphone vendors around the world has encouraged Nokia to launch as many attractive products as its competitors have introduced. It seems that this vendor keeps developing its products, especially smartphone, to maintain its position on mobile phone market. This can be seen from a Symbian OS-based smartphone launched by Nokia recently, namely N700. N700, that is the simple call for this new mobile phone, comes with 3.2 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M color-display, featuring Nokia Clear Black display, Gorilla Glass display, Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, and Proximity for auto turn-off. Working on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100, this mobile gadget is designed elegantly to support global roaming. With a dimension of 110 x 50.7 x 9.7 mm, Nokia 700 has a weight of only 96 grams. This smartphone is armed with 1 GHz processor and run Symbian Belle OS. It is also supported with 2 GB internal memory as well as expansion slot for external microSD-compatible memory, up to 32 GB. Nokia 700 comes with 5 megapixel rear-facing camera as its primary shooting device. Accompanied with LED flash, this capturing medium supports geo-tagging and can record video in 720p@30fps-quality video. Unfortunately, N700 has no front-facing camera for video call that it may be one more drawback of this mobile phone, beside a fixed focus for the primary one. For data transfer, Nokia 700 has supports of GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, microUSB port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Besides, this smartphone has some more supporting features such as Stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support, NFC, Digital compass, Java, Flash Lite 4.0, and Predictive text input. To run such various functions, Nokia 700 is supported with 1080 mAh Li-Ion battery, compatible with BP-5Z.
